Our Story

Our Story Boooks.png

All three business partners grew up in San Jose, CA. We have known one another for 23 years (much longer for our 3rd partner, whom we both call “mom”), after Deb and Erzsebet met in their Junior year of High School.

Erzsebet

Erzsebet moved to TX in 2018, then CO in 2021. My struggles include Alopecia Universalis (an autoimmune disorder that prevents hair growth), 5 years of homelessness, and divorce after 13 years of marriage. The moments in my life I’m proud of are getting my High School Diploma while I was homeless; I’m now living on my own, and back in school to get my Associate's Degree in Business Management. I started crafting when I was 7, painting rocks with my family. I have worked with a wide range of mediums, but currently enjoy working with UV resin and plastic canvas.

Deb Dunlap

Deb moved to ID in 2003, then CO in 2009. My struggles include Type 1 Diabetes, (DAD) a string of abusive relationships, and 4 strokes that took the normal use of my left side. I’m most proud of the fact that after nearly a dozen years of online connection, the chips finally fell right in both our lives and I got to marry someone who loves and supports me, and wants to see me succeed. I started crafting around the age of 8, working with pony beads to create keychains and cross necklaces, but since the strokes, I’ve switched to working primarily in plastic canvas, having found creative ways to be able to hold and stitch my projects.

Mom Dunlap

Mom moved to CO in 2007. My struggles include moving away from family and friends, not being able to say goodbye to my parents when they passed; when my dogs passed; and the loss of my grandson. I’m proud of my kids (the ones I gave birth to and the dozen or so I’ve been a second mom to); my dogs; having a great “work family”. I started crafting in the 5th grade when my teacher had us embroider a map of the US. Since then I’ve mostly worked in plastic canvas because it’s fun, easy, and allows me to think of something other than work, though I  have worked crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, embroidery, and beading. To contact Mom, connect with Deb, and she will communicate the information.
